Mid-Michigan residents are facing increasing challenges in their fight against hunger according to hunger analytics data released today by Second Helping, Inc.

Second Helping, Inc. will launch its hunger relief program in Forest Township this month to help combat hunger issues in Otisville and surrounding areas.

World Hunger Day will be observed this year on Tuesday, May 28, 2024 with a theme of “Thriving Mothers. Thriving World.”  The annual event seeks to increase awareness about malnutrition and support communities in breaking the cycle of hunger.

Second Helping, Inc. will launch its hunger relief program in Richland Township next month to help combat hunger issues in Hemlock and surrounding areas.

The Second Helping November 2024 Mid-Michigan Food Insecurity Indices were released today and evidenced mostly improving sentiment from respondents regarding hunger and food insecurity across mid-Michigan.
