Second Helping recently finalized its food distribution events from Otisville’s Forest Township in 2024, concluding a successful 2024 campaign in that area.
Mary Ann Price, Forest Township Supervisor, said “Second Helping donated and delivered more than 93,000 pounds of food into Forest Township in 2024, a testament to the hard work of many people and our mutual commitment to serving those who may be less fortunate.”
Michelle Ediva, Director of Hunger Outreach Programs at Second Helping, added “We were amazed at how many people we fed this year from our distribution events in Forest Township. People travelled to our events from elsewhere in Genesee County, Tuscola County, Saginaw County, and many other locations. We’re grateful to Forest Township, our volunteers, the Knights of Columbus, the Genesee County Road Commission, and countless others for making this a reality.”
